Parenting Education

The Incredible Years: Parents, Teachers and Children Training Series is a comprehensive set of research-based curricula for parents of 2-8 year old children.  The parent training program is focused on strengthening parenting competencies (monitoring, positive discipline, confidence) and fostering parents’ involvement in children’s school experiences.  Classes are 12 or 13 weeks in length as decided by the agency.  Classes are open to the community unless otherwise specified. 

Dina Dinosaur Group is a component of The Incredible Years for young children 4-8 years old.  It promotes social, emotional and academic competence, promotes positive peer relationships, reduces negative behaviors such as bullying, stealing and lying and develops self-esteem and self-confidence.
