JOB TITLE: IT System Administrator/Help Desk Technician

STATUS: On-Call/Per Diem

START DATE: As soon as possible

JOB SUMMARY: The IT help Desk supports the employees and/or programs of SPCC
Rochester. With independent judgement, this person will perform routine and non-routine
duties, including the troubleshooting and assistance with the ticket management system.
This person will work frequently with the IT Manager to triage and close tickets
independently and efficiently.

Essential Functions:
– Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
– Capacity to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
– Management of users and groups through Microsoft Active Directory and Office
– Capacity of supporting peripheral equipment, setting up new equipment,
reassigning and/or decommissioning outdated equipment
– Accurate management of resource inventory
– Providing assistance to remote users to access on premise resources and general
day to day concern which may include, password resets and application

Education and Experience:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent interpersonal skills.
– Skillsets to clearly explain technical information to all employees
