The Family Advisory Collective seeks to provide space for parents and caregivers to make lasting impact on the services they and future participants receive.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1551370985585{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1684865530908{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<strong><span class=\"TextRun SCXW148600796 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW148600796 BCX0\">The Role of Members:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Members serve a two-year term on the Family Advisory Collective, and are tasked with representing both their own experiences, perspectives, situations, and needs in addition to representing a broader range of family experiences, perspectives, situations and needs. All members are required to have received (current or past) SPCC services. Here are the roles of the Family Advisory Collective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FAC Member (2-year term, approximately 3 hours per month)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet with the FAC monthly to discuss and advise on SPCC agency and program specific practices, procedures, materials, events, and programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>FAC Family Chairperson (1-year term, approximately 5 hours per month)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Serves as the FAC lead. Works in partnership with the SPCC Staff Liaison, Vice-Chairperson and the Member Support Lead to set the FAC&#8217;s work scope, agenda, lead meetings, coordinate follow ups including recommendations, feedback, and suggestions to the relevant SPCC groups or individual staff (e.g., Leadership Team, Board of Directors, CEO, specific program representatives).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>FAC Family Vice-Chairperson (1-year term, approximately 5 hours per month)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Fills in for Chairperson when the chairperson is unavailable, and co-facilitates FAC meetings and activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;20799&#8243;
