April holds a Bachelor of Psychology and Art from Johnson State College in Vermont. April has training and experience in implementing Trauma Informed Care and Motivational interviewing and is enthusiastic about sharing this with the community. April has worked in and with the community for 17 years assisting families and youth. Her extensive work with parents and children with developmental disabilities fuels her work.
April is excited to work at the Society for the Protection and Care of Children – Mary Ellen Institute in Rochester, New York as an Infant Mental Health Trainer and Consultant.
In her free time, April like to ride horses, volunteers at the non-profit barn Never Say Never Stables, and enjoys spending with her family and friends.
