I joined SPCC in 2023 as a Payroll and Benefits Specialist and was honored to step into the role of Director of Human Resources before advancing to my current position as Senior Director of Human Resources and Humanity Centered Care. In my current role, I lead the agency’s human resources function and organizational culture initiatives while helping advance SPCC’s commitment to Humanity Centered Care by fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and connected to our mission.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business from The College at Brockport and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Stony Brook University. Prior to joining SPCC, I built my human resources career across both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, gaining experience that shaped my perspective on supporting people, strengthening human resource operations and leading through change.
What drives me most is creating environments where people feel respected, heard, and empowered to thrive. I believe that when organizations embrace diverse perspectives, lead with empathy, and cultivate a genuine sense of belonging, both employees and the communities they serve are stronger. My approach to leadership and human resources is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to keeping humanity at the center of the employee experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends, exploring a wide variety of video games, with The Sims on PC being a favorite, and volunteering in my community. Community engagement is especially meaningful to me because it reflects both the population SPCC serves and the community where I grew up, which played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
