Michael Chesterton, IT Director

I joined SPCC in 2012 as a Systems Administrator and have grown alongside the agency into my current role as IT Director. I oversee the technology and systems that support our work across four geographic locations, ensuring our teams have reliable, secure tools to serve the community.

Before joining SPCC, I worked as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer for a disaster recovery and data backup company. I attended Rochester Institute of Technology, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting business-critical systems and building dependable infrastructure.

What I enjoy most about my work at SPCC is knowing that strong technology support helps our staff deliver better, safer, and more efficient services for the families we serve.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors, hunting, fly fishing, golfing or spending time with my children. If it’s outside, I’m interested.
