TITLE: Case Manager/Program Coordinator – Family Trauma Intervention Program (FTIP)
REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor
TOTAL HOURS: 40 hours per week
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, however weekend and evening availability is expected.
SALARY RANGE: $22.85 – 24.30/per hour

JOB SUMMARY: The FTIP Case Manager/Program Coordinator is a hybrid position within the program, providing a combination of direct service case management to children and families, while also performing administrative tasks to support the coordination of the program. Home-based case management will be provided to children and families who have been impacted by trauma, including severe abuse, intimate partner violence, fatality/loss, and often children who are at risk of foster care placement. Case management services may include, but are not limited to assistance in locating housing, securing financial assistance, ensuring that children are being seen by medical providers, court and community advocacy, parenting skills training, preventive day care referrals, and referrals to needed resources.

As Program Coordinator, they will work closely with the Clinical Supervisor on various administrative tasks including coordinating incoming referrals to the program, oversight of client-level data collection including training new staff and interns, assisting with the completion of reports to funders, and coordinating program purchasing as needed. In this role, they will collaborate closely with all members of the FTIP team and serve as a liaison between staff and the Clinical Supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field. Associate’s degree with experience may be
considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in human services with a focus on trauma, child maltreatment, poverty,
loss, young parents, and developmental risk, preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the psycho-social aspects of child abuse, neglect, and multi-cultural
• Willingness to engage in reflective practice in individual supervision to support best practices,
professional development, and professional well-being.
• Detail-oriented, organized and strong communication skills (both verbal and in writing).
• Must have strong computer skills as demonstrated by proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
Power Point) and the ability to work in a variety of cloud-based database systems.
• Self-motivated, responsive, and decisive with the ability to manage crisis situations, adapt to change, and balance competing demands. while remaining regulated and compassionate.
• Must exemplify a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion work and delivering

Candidate will be required to successfully complete the Agency Confidentiality Agreement, required
Background Check, and State Central Register Clearance. The Candidate must possess a valid NYS driver’s license with a good driving record and carry agency required levels of automobile liability insurance.
